Full-time Associate Veterinarian (New Grads Welcome)
Be INTERESTED. Be ENTHUSIASTIC. Be PASSIONATE.
Welcome to a different kind of associate veterinarian position, and a different kind of animal hospital. Passionate Paws Animal Hospital is a modern, all digital, privately-held practice that opened in late 2016 to be the first in South Charlotte to provide integrative pet healthcare to deliver the most treatment options for dogs and cats to help them stay in the best of health. Through its unique blend of eastern and western medicine, innovative hospital design, exclusive focus on pet parents, expanded pet services such as grooming, community outreach programs, and award winning professionals, the hospital is transforming the pet healthcare industry.
Passionate Paws Animal Hospital has won the 2017 and 2018 Charlotte Media Group’s Best of The Weekly for Best Veterinarian and Best Groomer, the Union County Chamber of Commerce’s 2017 Rising Star award, voted Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorite for three years in a row, Dr. Bonilla recently won the Charlotte Media Group’s 2019 Rising Star award, and we have over 100 5-Star Facebook and Google reviews since opening. Passionate Paws Animal Hospital’s success is driven by a commitment to delivering the best healthcare experience for both pets and pet parents. In 2019, Passionate Paws Animal Hospital became a Fear Free Certified Practice, 1 out 4 within 100 miles.
We are looking for an energetic, engaging, and charismatic veterinarian to expand upon our services, continue to provide the very best in medical care, create long-lasting client relationships, deliver unparalleled client experiences, and strengthen our brand among the communities we serve. In the process, together we will take our hospital to the next level, shake up the industry, and unleash your true potential.
The right candidate must have a strong interest and understanding of integrative medicine and possess, or have a willingness to pursue, at least one of the following certifications — acupuncture, chiropractic, canine rehabilitation, pain management, herbal therapy, or food therapy. While we are looking for a full-time associate, we are willing to consider part-time for the right candidate. We are always eager to provide new lines of services for our clients, so if you have a strong interest or experience in other areas of vet medicine we do not currently offer such as ultrasound or exotics, we would be very open to discuss.
Applicants must send a one to two minute video (along with cover letter, resume, and references) telling us something about yourself that we couldn’t read in a resume and describe why you believe you would be a good fit for our hospital. Please upload video and supporting materials using the form below.
